The formulation for Protein Bar: Orange Honey Soap with Pollen first appeared in Bees for Development Journal. Honey Made using my same-day soap method, you can use the soap the same day you make it- no waiting for the soap to cure. Made with coconut, olive and castor oils, beeswax and honey. The addition of pollen increased the Maillard reaction resulting in a dark, rustic bar of soap. Sweet orange essential oil blends wonderfully with the caramel aroma of honey and pollen. Protein bar- a real treat.
